Our Vision

Icthus Ministries provides a place where our guests can hear from the Lord and be refreshed. We strive to create an environment where our guests can escape the noise of their everyday lives, quiet themselves and experience God.

Bill came to Icthus Ministries as the director in 1990. He and Edith were married four years later, and were eventually blessed with five children. They have counted it all joy as they have worked side by side for the Lord's kingdom for over thirty years. They are now anticipating the gift of more permanent staff to assist them. Please pray for the Palmer family and the Sanchez family!

Property Story: "The Haven"

In September of 1999, Icthus purchased 26 acres just three miles from the retreat center. The vision was to build a new lodge and move the current operation, located on one acre, to the new site. Since then we have acquired 25 more acres and 2 ministry guesthouses.

God has done amazing things in transforming this old cattle farm into an incredible haven for our groups, families, and the community. That is why we named the property, "The Haven." We still have yet to build a new lodge; however, over the years our ministry guesthouses, recreation areas, worship locations, and working farm have ministered to thousands of people.
